Are you a passionate Higher Learning Teaching Assistant ?

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a lovely Primary School in Watford .

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support the delivery of high-quality education and contribute to the overall development and well-being of our students.

Location - Watford

Salary - £90-£110 per day

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher and covering the class when required
  • Provide one-on-one support to students, addressing individual learning needs and promoting academic progress.
  • Lead small group activities and interventions to support students' learning and development.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to evaluate student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant qualification in Education or Teaching Assistance (e.g., Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification).
  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA in a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and teaching methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting the success and well-being of all students.
