Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive health and safety documentation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and pre-use checks for work equipment, to ensure the safety of plant operations and personnel. Support the onboarding process for new employees by providing training on health and safety matters and developing training packages as needed. Create and maintain a training matrix to ensure all staff receive appropriate HSE training. Provide ongoing support to management on health and safety matters, including advising on best practices, regulatory compliance, and risk management strategies. Lead or assist in the investigation and reporting of health and safety incidents, ensuring that all incidents are thoroughly documented, analyzed, and corrective actions are implemented. Develop and maintain Roles and Responsibilities, competency assessments, and duty holders matrix to clarify HSE responsibilities throughout the organization. Attend H&S Meetings to provide updates on HSE initiatives, discuss concerns, and collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve HSE performance. Qualifications: Proven experience in health, safety, and environmental management, preferably within the food manufacturing industry..
