About the HLTA Role:
Join the school as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) and immerse yourself in the enriching SEND provision, focusing on supporting a group of children in Reception.
Your Mission:
Empower every student, no matter the need, to fully engage with the enriching curriculum.
Your Responsibilities: - Conducting targeted small group and 1:1 interventions to boost individual student development.
- Assisting in classroom setup and maintaining an environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborating on activity planning and material preparation to ensure curriculum accessibility.
- Taking the lead and providing support for class, group, and individual activities, both indoors and outdoors.
- Monitoring student progress, evaluating achievements, and communicating outcomes with class teachers.
What you need for this HLTA role: - Hold an Enhanced Child workforce DBS with an update service subscription, or be willing to apply for one
- A degree qualification in any area
- Previous experience working with children with SEND
- Hold current and valid Right to Work status in the UK (Sponsorship is not available for this role)
- Demonstrate effective communication skills and excellent classroom management
