A leading global pharma company is seeking an Analytical Scientist to join their Materials Characterisation Team within a cutting-edge analytical technologies group. This is your chance to work on a wide variety of pharmaceutical materials, applying analytical methods to drive innovation in medicine.
What You'll Do:
- Analyse the chemical composition and impurities of APIs, excipients, drug products, and packaging
- Use advanced techniques including HPLC, ICP-MS, and UV to perform quantitative analysis and dissolution testing
- Design and execute stability studies and troubleshoot instrumentation
- Document findings with clarity and present insights to key stakeholders
- Drive high-quality, GLP-compliant laboratory work
What You'll Bring:
- Degree in Chemistry or related field
- Hands-on experience in an analytical lab (industry or academic)
- Solid grasp of chromatographic/spectroscopic methods (HPLC, ICP-MS, UV)
- Strong attention to detail, independence, and scientific rigor
- Clear communication and a collaborative, proactive mindset
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
