Summary:
As Talent Acquisition Specialist you will support the growth of Doocey Group. This role involves sourcing, attracting, and retaining top talent across our business, for roles across the UK. You will play a pivotal role in building a strong pipeline of skilled professionals and ensuring that our company meets its project demands and long-term strategic goals.
Specific Responsibilites/Tasks:
Daily
Provide quality and factual recruitment advice and guidance to all managers and employees across the group.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective candidates.
Understand Doocey Group’s hiring needs, business objectives, and company culture.
Provide expert advice on market conditions, recruitment strategies, and talent acquisition trends.
Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify potential candidates, including using job boards, social media platforms, networking events, and referrals.
Write and post compelling job advertisements to attract quality candidates.
Utilise recruitment best practices and databases to manage candidate pipelines.
Review CV’s and applications to shortlist qualified candidates.
Conduct initial phone or in-person interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
Provide detailed candidate profiles and recommendations to stakeholders, requesting feedback in a timely manner.
Coordinate and negotiate job offers between Doocey Group and candidates.
Provide guidance on salary expectations, benefits, and contract terms.
Ensure a smooth onboarding process for placed candidates.
Stay updated on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor activities, including conducting market research to identify opportunities for new business development and growth.
Ensure innovative ways of working are implemented to enhance the Group’s recruitment brand.
Support with overflow calls from reception team, providing excellent customer service always, and dealing with queries immediately.
Ensuring timely maintenance of the HR, Recruitment, and personal email inboxes and deal with accordingly, within the HR SLA’s.
Efficiently and effectively plan own diary.
Weekly
Provide reports on all areas of Recruitment.
Deliver the Corporate Induction and on-boarding programmes for all new starters, ensuring a comprehensive and consistent approach is taken.
Ensure that the appropriate contractual documentation, as prepared by HR team members, is issued to employees in relation to appointments.
Produce and supplying data for weekly management slides including data for new starters, leavers, and recruitment updates to be presented at weekly management meeting.
Monthly
Collate and supply data to be input into PRIME slide deck containing attrition, and CV response rates, to be presented at monthly PRIME meeting.
Collate data and input into monthly Director slides for the Head of HR to present at the HR update for Directors, including Recruitment, and attrition.
Qualifications & Training:
- A minimum 5 years’ experience within the same or similar role.
- Fluent level of both spoken and written English.

- Self-driven, results-oriented, with a ‘can do’ attitude without compromising safety and/or compliance.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including employees, management, regulatory agencies, and the community.
