Our client is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the technical workstream of a large-scale, high-impact people system rollout.

This is a 6-month FTC, offering a great opportunity to join a supportive team and gain valuable exposure within one of the UK's leading providers of Facilities Services.

The role is hybrid, requiring three days per week in the office.

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity, overseeing a complex implementation with multiple dependencies and a significant organisational impact.

Job Description

As IT Project Manager, you will work closely with the third-party implementation partner’s project manager, aligning plans with suppliers and identifying key dependencies within the programme.

Strong project management skills, effective communication, and stakeholder collaboration will be essential in ensuring a successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain detailed project plans with timelines, milestones, and resource requirements
  • Coordinate third-party suppliers to ensure seamless delivery
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues
  • Identify and manage dependencies across workstreams for timely completion
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and track potential challenges
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and risk logs
  • Own and update the RAID log, ensuring tracking and resolution of risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies
  • Track and facilitate action resolution with internal teams and suppliers
  • Ensure project requirements are consistently traced throughout the lifecycle

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably in a global system rollout
  • SAP SuccessFactors knowledge is essential
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Agile mindset and Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Business acumen and strong problem solving skills
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification or equivalent is a plus
