£85,000 - £95,000/annum Car or £5,680 allowance
  • 12 month FTC with scope of going perm
  • Mon to Fri
  • Salary plus car/allowance
  • Home based with national travel

We are working with a premier Facilities Management (FM) provider to find a Technical Director/Senior Technical Lead to join a major new account, going live later in the year.

This will be a high value, long term and high profile customer whose estate spans the UK, consisting of offices, conference centres etc of varying sizes within new and listed buildings

Reporting into the Key Account Director you will initially focus on establishing robust governance for engineering, spanning M&E, Fabric and Fire, delivered via a combination of static, and mobile engineering teams.

Advancing further, you will lead the Technical BAU by leveraging excellent relationships with numerous stakeholders within the Account, wider business and from the customer

While the role will commence as an FTC there is scope of going perm, and role could have exciting long term development potential

This is a fantastic oppunrtunity for a Senior Technical Leader to join a massive new account for a leader in the built environment space.

Actions will include:

  • Deliver our technical services, as per the Divisional strategy with brilliant basics - safe, legal and compliant.
  • Maintain a healthy, safe and secure environment and ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation.
  • Monitor and maintain adherence to employer and industry compliance in all areas within the designated responsibilities.
  • Lead on the delivery and ongoing development of our technical services delivery as a whole incorporating all technical workstreams.
  • Act as the Account directors guide and advisor for all technical matters including acting as the deputy duty holder
  • Identify asset improvement and life cycle opportunities under a continuous improvement programme.
  • Maximise additional revenue opportunities including project work, customer investment and new opportunities.
  • Protect employer from technical risk including any revenue leakage or margin impact.
  • To make significant contributions to the long-term strategy of the service delivery model.
  • Ensure all services are delivered in a commercially responsible way; own and deliver on your budgets and financial targets.
  • Ensure all relevant periodic reporting, audits and required paperwork and administration is completed on time.
  • Ensure succession plans are in place for key positions within your service functions to meet the expectations of customers and all relevant stakeholders in the business.
  • To work co-operatively with other business sectors and support functions within the company to promote and facilitate the achievement of company and corporate objectives.

We need from you:

  • Strong level of  M&E qualification (focus on fire would be excellent) with developed leadership skills in conjunction with well practiced, diplomatic stakeholder engagement abilities
