Pentagon Technical Services are currently recruiting for a Construction Manager who will be guiding and managing interfaces as well as maintain the project execution plan.

Key Deliverables

  • Oversight of physical construction activities on site.
  • Leading commissioning of critical systems integration across new customer builds and existing data centres.
  • Management in contractor safety performance.
  • Coordination and logistical planning for all OFCI equipment.
  • Management of project scope, safety, schedule, stakeholder, and budget.
  • Drive all aspects of construction including pre-construction, design development, permitting and entitlements, competitive bid process, team selection, construction oversight, commissioning, and project closeout.
  • Act as project leader, drive coordination and integration of internal stakeholders within the project.
  • For assigned customer construction projects manage direct reports and third-party project management resources and track staffing utilization

  • A good level in English is required, other languages are considered as an asset.

  • Demonstrate flexibility, integrity and be credible with partners and internal contacts.
  • Technology savvy with interest in, and experience with Smart Buildings.
  • Strong Project Management & organizational skills.
  • Positive stakeholder management and engagement.
  • Engineering or Mechanical background is essential.
  • Experience with Google Workspace tools (G Suite etc.) beneficial but not essential.

Experience & Education

  • At least 5+ years of industry experience in a senior project management or program management role management position, preferably in the construction/MEP/CSA project Management capacity
  • Must have, at minimum, a bachelor (level) degree preferably in a technical field.
  • A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from project conception stage, through all of the operational stages to completion and post-project review.
