NHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for a Reward Specialist to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first.

We are seeking an experienced Reward Specialist who will assist in the design, implementation, and management of our total rewards strategy, including compensation.  They will ensure that the business is aligned with the long-term business goals and strategy.

Every day you will … 

  • Conduct market research and salary benchmarking to maintain competitive pay levels.
  • Assist in the design, evaluation, and modification of our compensation structures to ensure they are competitive, fair, and aligned with the strategic goals of the organisation.
  • Support the implementation of reward programmes that drive employee performance and engagement.
  • Prepare reports and provide data analysis on compensation, benefits, and market trends.
  • Act as a point of contact for colleague inquiries related to reward.
  • Use data to assess the effectiveness of our current reward strategies and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to align reward strategies.

What skills will help you thrive in this role?

  • Previous experience in a compensation and benefits role.
  • An analytical mindset who is comfortable with data and has experience in headcount/costing/modelling etc.
  • The ability to run high-cost / high-visibility projects to fixed deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy with an analytical mindset.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
