Repairs Manager – South London
Trevett Services are delighted to be partnering with a public sector client to make the key appointment of Repairs Manager (Social Housing).
Based in South London this is a temp to perm role £220 - £250 per day + vehicle
Reporting to the Head of Maintenance, the Repairs Manager will be responsible for delivering a Repairs Maintenance service to Occupied and Void Social Housing Properties.
Working closely and collaboratively with internal and external repairs and maintenance teams, the Repairs Manager will oversee the repairs and voids services, ensuring reduced void periods and effectively managing void and repair budgets to ensure cost effective maintenance.
About you:
- Technical knowledge / Electrical or Mechanical background
- Ideally apprenticeship served with HNC / HND qualification or equivalent
- Good project management experience
- Sound knowledge of Social Housing (Void & Occupied)
- Sound knowledge of Safe Systems of Work
- Good supply chain management experience
- Good knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance
- Sound experience of asset management
- Good all round communication skills
- Sound IT skills
- Good time management skills
The role will be temporary for 3 months, then will become permanent with a salary of £50k.
