£30,000 - £40,000/annum

The successful candidate will already have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an UK accountancy practice environment and should be a part or fully qualified ACCA accountant.

You will be joining a well established and successful firm working alongside the Director on a varied client base.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a high skill level in the following areas:-

  • Advanced bookkeeping skills - being able to prepare full set of accounts whether they are presented on excel or an accounting software. Should be able to prepare a set of accounts from incomplete records.
  • Have a full working knowledge of VAT and MTD process. Including registration and deregistration.
  • Full working knowledge of payroll and the workplace pension and be able to process and administer the payroll files and communicate key information to clients.
  • Prepare statutory accounts and corporation tax computations and have a good understanding of capital allowances, loss relief and associated companies.
  • Understand personal tax returns and accounting for income tax and National insurance.
  • Have a rounded working knowledge of all UK taxes

You should have a full working knowledge of word, excel, outlook and cloud accounting software such as Sage, Quickbooks, Xero, Auto-entry, Dext and the likes.

You will be expected to hit the ground running but will always have the support of the director and the team at large. Our aim collectively is service our clients with a high degree of care.
