We’re now looking for an Operations Officer within the Automotive Aftermarket business.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will book in all inbound stock and deal with accounts, supply chain and vendors as required to ensure good internal stock levels. Supporting quality activities, updating training records and maintaining the training matrix, you will run and issue various internal KPI’s and support and maintain UK sustainability activities and energy cost and associated databases. You will update notes and objectives from the monthly Health & Safety forum, providing an issue to the UK Operations Manager and update the internal monthly newsletter as well as manage the matrix of maintenance.


  • Good IT skills, with competency in MS Outlook, Word & Excel.
  • An in-depth knowledge of SAP.
  • Good interpersonal skills, allowing interfaces at all levels in the AGR businesses.
  • A pro-active and positive attitude to Health & Safety activities.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with employees, managers, suppliers, and customers.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify patterns in performance data and the ability to identify corrective applications.
  • A customer focused attitude whereby the philosophy of exceeding customer expectations (profitable) is one of the foundations on which the department operates on.
  • A continued focus on driving cost and operational efficiency in all parts of the department’s activities.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and when working alone.


  • Salary circa £25,000 per annum.
  • Working hours are 38 hours per week.
  • 25 days holiday per year, plus declared UK holidays.
  • Staff bonus scheme – based on site targets and not guaranteed.
  • Group personal pension plan – a defined contribution scheme with Aviva with up to 8% employer contribution.
