The Tiffin Boys School is looking to recruit three Teaching Assistants to join our thriving and happy team. We are a high achieving boys’ selective state school with a mixed Sixth Form. With a growing number of students with SEND, we are looking to further expand the department.

About the Role:

The Teaching Assistant role involves supporting students, assisting the class teacher, helping to maintain a productive & positive learning environment, and assisting with administration.

You may be required to provide ad-hoc or dedicated 1:1 support to specific students and also to provide whole-class support in lessons, as well as transition times, according to your skill set.

*    Proficient in English, Maths & IT skills
*    Able to liaise effectively with students, staff, parents and external agencies, and endeavour to build good working relationships.
*    Able to cope with the fast pace of academics, allowing our students to strive with your support.
*    Willing to undertake further training to enhance their skillset
*    Willing to undertake a lead on academic mentorship, organisational support, or accessing wider curriculum support
