£12.74per hour –£22.19per hour with overtime and enhance Sunday rate

This is an amazing prospect be part of one of the UK’s biggest train franchises as a night shift train cleaning team leader at one of their depots in Cambridge. This is an initial 6-month contract with a great opportunity to be taken on permanently which presents a great career platform and progression into the railway sector.

The role:

We are currently looking for an individual to join the night shift cleaning team as a Team Leader based at Cambridge Maintenace Depot. The night shift team play an essential role in ensuring a high level of quality is met and as a Team Leader you will be supervising and guiding the team to achieve this goal . Ideally, you will hold a sentinel card with PTS competencies of AC/DC, although this is not essential as training will be provided by Ganymede Solutions.

As a team leader, you will be joining the night shift cleaning team who cover a roster of 22:00pm – 05:00am over the course of the week, with the option of overtime available at the discretion of the management team.

Pay Rate & Benefits

Standard Hours (35 hours p/w)- £12.74p/h

Overtime (+36 hours) and Rest Days - £18.96p/h

Sunday Shift - £22.19p/h

You become eligible for a pay increase after 12 weeks due to AWR. This is a fantastic opportunity as candidates who excel during the 6-month contract period will be considered for subsequent permanent positions. About You

If this is a role which has caught your interest, here is what you need to be considered for the Team Leader position at Cambridge.

Ideally, you will be experienced within a vehicle/industrial or house cleaning environment. Having been in a similar Team Leader role in a previous job will also be welcomed. Strong leadership and good communication are vital is this role as you will be overseeing a variety of individuals to achieve set targets. The ability to lead from the from is vital in this role as you work collectively towards set team goals and objectives.

You will have a keen eye for detail and take pride in delivering a clean and safe environment clean for customers.  

Training is provided covering depot protection, site safety and cleaning solutions. Work is undertaken in a safety critical environment so you will be required to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screening.
