Blayze Group are currently working with a leading Residential Developer seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor to join their business on a fixed-term contract.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience working for a Residential Developer or a Main Contractor, managing the internal packages on the project as either a Quantity Surveyor or a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO…

• Manage the commercial function of internal packages on site.
• Produce sub-contractor payments and final accounts.
• Produce sub-contract orders.
• Complete on-site measurements.
• Attend and contribute to various meetings, such as pre-order meetings, valuation meetings and project review meetings.
• Manage all sub-contract orders on site.
• Maintain trade specifications.
• Manage the package procurement.
• Manage budgets.
• Assist with material buying when required.
• Report into Commercial Manager

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE…

• Demonstrable effective experience of working for a Developer and/or Main Contractor in a similar role or at the level of a Senior Quantity Surveyor or a Quantity Surveyor.
• Ability to prioritise tasks to meet changing business needs.
• Knowledge and understanding of the function of the commercial team for a Residential Developer.
