HR AUTHORIZING OFFICER – LONDON OR ABERDEEN – DIRECT HIRE CONTRACT

Our client, a primary and well recognized Energy Company, is urgently seeking an HR Authorizing Officer to join their team working in their new UK office.

EXPERIENCE

Must have strong experience as an HR Authorizing Officer, who understands all the relevant immigration laws, regulations, and requirements as well as experience of Personnel Logistics. Some experience within energy companies ideally within the oil and gas industry is ideal, but not essential.

JOB SCOPE

The successful candidate will be eligible to work as an Authorising Officer with responsibilities including: Managing the sponsorship management system (SMS), liaising with UKVI, record keeping, monitoring and reporting.

The successful candidate will immediately be entrusted in arranging Sponsorship License applications. The main types of sponsorship needed are GBM (Global Business Mobility) and Skilled Workers.

You will have the responsibility in applying to the HMRC for employees’ Sponsorship Licences so that this client can employ overseas skilled workers and arrange their visas in the UK.

This role will also be responsible for the UK office and HR set up, taking global policies and procedures and ensuring they are fit for purpose for the UK business. You will work closely with the head office global team on all things HR from recruitment to training, from onboarding to reward.

The role would be full time for 6 months (compatibly with local legislation). This would also be working on registration and set up activities then subsequently being able to transfer the role of Authorizing Officer to another employee sponsored by the Client.

Salary:               Please quote what hourly or daily rate you would be looking for.

Duration:          6 months – possibly longer
