Are you a qualified teacher looking to work reduced hours?
Do you have experience working with children with additional needs, ASC, SEMH or EBD?
We are currently working with 3 different Local Authorities to help educate young learners who cannot currently access mainstream education. These roles may be in a library, at a children's home or in a Foster carer's home.
These roles are ideal for teachers who are experienced in working with vulnerable children with SEN who find themselves without a school place. Due to the nature of the roles, it is vital that you have the following –
- QTS or QTLS, with experience working with SEN
- Patience and understanding
- Believe learning should be fun.
- Have a good understanding of the primary curriculum.
- Can plan lessons creatively for pupils who require personalised learning.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Have some experience and enthusiasm for working with pupils with social communication difficulties and Autism/Learning difficulties, or a desire to learn.
- Have excellent behaviour management skills.
- Have strong emotional resilience.
- Have empathy and understanding towards young people.
