Job Title: Field Marketing Executive/Canvasser

Location: Farnborough

Salary: OTE £36,000 (Basic £24,000 plus performance-based bonus of up to £1,000 per month (estimated potential))

Job type: FTC 3-6 months initially, with potential permanent employment beyond this.

Working Days: Shift patterns across Mon-Sat (5 over 6) working full or part time from 11am until 7pm. You will be required to travel to various across South East, South West, Midlands.

Your Role Purpose:

To engage with potential customers at their doorstep, informing and educating them of Milk & More, to build awareness of the fantastic service we provide; positively and persuasively encouraging them to understand all the benefits we offer, research us further via our website, register as a potential customer and ultimately convert to using our service.

Our existing customers are the cornerstone of our business and it is vital that we show our appreciation by using our Field Marketing Executives to be the ‘face of ‘ Milk & More to ensure they are happy with the service and engage them on our new product proposition.

Targeting lapsed customers is a key priority and Field Marketing Executives will have the responsibility of visiting lapsed customers to re-engage on the relaunched range.     

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

  • Conduct door-to-door canvassing to engage with potential/existing and lapsed customers in a friendly and knowledgeable way to inform them of and inspire them about our fantastic service.
  • Carefully listen to customers questions, needs and requirements to tailor your responses to assure customers of the simplicity and benefits of using Milk & More, and to handle any pushback or objections.
  • Encourage potential customers to fully consider the value of our offer, register an account on our website/app and ultimately, convert to using our service.
  • Engage existing customers on the new range and encourage them to grow their basket.
  • Achieve and exceed weekly targets with regards household/area coverage, customer engagements, customer registrations, customer conversions and basket size.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams based on customer interactions, to help evolve and develop training and face-to-face communication ideas.

Experience & Background Required:

  • Experience in sales, canvassing, or direct marketing is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Persuasive and confident with the ability to develop conversations to target outcomes.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, punctual and able to work independently.
  • Results-driven, strong work ethic and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to demonstrate brand passion and care for attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle rejection whilst maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Excellent spoken English.
  • DBS Certificate preferred (Milk & More can support with accreditation).
  • Ability to travel with own transport drive a M&M vehicle and mobile phone.
