Role: Inclusion Teaching Assistant

Start Date: September 24

Hours: 08:00am - 16:30pm

Monday - Friday (Term Time Only)

We are working in partnership with a happy school in walking distance of Elephant & Castle Tube Station, who pride themselves on the relationships they have with staff and students and caring for their education in every decision made. This high achieving Primary School are seeking an Inclusion Teaching Assistant to join them on a full time basis with an immediate or delayed start for the right candidate.

About the Role:

• You will be excited to plan, develop and co-ordinate a range of interventions that will contribute to the development of SEN students
• To meet students on a one to one basis and discuss any issues or difficulties they may be encountering
• To develop strategies to assist with literacy and numeracy in a one to one setting or small group work
• To work closely with pastoral teams, meet with parents and maintain links between home and school
• Be responsible for tracking student progress

• Be helpful, friendly and able to make good judgements and lead when required

• Good administrative and organisational skills
