FLT Driver/ Stores Person

Mid Kent

£12.90 - £13.50 per hour (DOE)

3 Month Temp contract (possibility of extension)

Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

An exciting opportunity has arisen as we are currently recruiting for a FLT Operative/ Stores Person to work with our client based in Mid Kent.

Duties for this position include:              

• Order picking and loading onto vehicle
• Delivering and collection of parts from sites and suppliers  
• Receiving all deliveries, checking goods and distributing to the correct area’s within the warehouse.
• Liaising with internal departments and suppliers regarding stock and deliveries  
• Safely Operating the Forklift Counterbalance to load and unload goods
• Ensuring that Health and Safety standards are adhered to at all times.

The successful candidate will have/ be:

• Previous experience within a similar role  
• A strong understanding of English both verbal and written
• In date Forklift Counterbalance licence (inhouse licence not accepted due to insurance)
• Full UK Cat B Licence (no more than 3 points due to insurance)
• Able to adhere to tight deadlines
• Motivated and reliable with a positive work attitude
