Job Title: Head of Quality

About Us:

Real Staffing is is currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Quality Department to lead a Quality Team with a pharmaceutical client in Northeast England.

Job Description:

As the Head of Quality Department, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the Quality Control and Quality Assurance programs. You will ensure compliance with local and international regulations, implement and monitor quality systems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality management systems in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead the Quality Team in achieving key performance indicators.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure the adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvement initiatives.
• Oversee the investigation and resolution of non-conformities.
• Ensure the timely release of high-quality pharmaceutical products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing high-performing teams.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP, and ISO standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
