Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are searching for an ICT Design Engineer to join a leading ICT Consultancy, on a long-term contract basis, outside IR35.
This position offers the chance to work on a remote basis whilst attending London project sites occasionally.
As the successful ICT Design Engineer, you will play a vital role in shaping technology solutions for clients whilst providing expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the production, review and approval of telecoms designs
- Ensure designs and documentation are consistent and high quality
- Managing all deliverables throughout the specification and design process
- Ensure technical processes and procedures for the delivery of outputs are followed
- Work closely with the Design Lead and Implementation team
- Develop scopes, site surveys, cost estimations and tender documentation
- Perform bid analysis
Key Requirements:
- 3 years' experience delivering Data Centre telecoms designs
- Extensive experience in Data Centre technology and Engineering
- Experience in the specification, design and delivery of ICT infrastructure
- Ability to converse and design with CAD and Revit Technicians
- Effective communications skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous management experience is beneficial
- Experience of working to RIBA stage 2-4
