Based in Winchester, Hampshire

• Multi-Trader required in Winchester for a long-term construction project.

The day-to-day duties will consist of:

• Predominantly reactive maintenance carpentry repairs including doors, sash and casements windows, flooring, kitchens, and mouldings.
• Performing a selection of other tradebased skills such as basic plumbing repairs, small scale plastering works, ceramic wall tiling and painting and decorating works.
• Using traditional building skills to preserve and recreate elements of the building due to the historical nature of the buildings. (Sash windows, bespoke doors, traditional gutter systems, traditionally cut roofs and other traditional materials such)
• Occasionally carrying various restoration works.
• Performing all required duties on site as instructed by the site management team
• Conduct work according to industry health and safety standards

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid CSCS Card
• Must have experience in carpentry and be able to work unsupervised as well as within a team
• Must be hard working and driven
• Must have valid ID/Passport
• Must have full PPE (Hard hat, hivis, and safety boots)
• To achieve the higher rate, you must be able to demonstrate a good work experience in the construction industry

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:00 - 16:30 with a 30-minute lunch break and 10-minute Morning break. One will be expected to respond to occasional out of hours emergency call-outs where overtime will be paid.
