QAQC Engineer required for a major Offshore Wind Farm Developer based in Belgium.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement quality assurance protocols.
  • Create and maintain documentation on QA procedures.
  • Develop and update quality control plans.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Stay updated with changes in regulations and standards.
  • Conduct internal audits to verify compliance.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance quality.
  • Use statistical tools to monitor and improve processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of QA activities.
  • Prepare quality documentation and reports.
  • Manage document control systems.
  • Develop testing protocols and methods.
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards before release.
  • Identify and document product defects.
  • Work with production teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Evaluate and audit suppliers to ensure quality standards.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues.
  • Maintain records of supplier performance and quality metrics.
  • Prepare detailed reports on quality control activities.
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Report findings to management and recommend actions.
  • Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained.
  • Schedule regular maintenance and calibration checks.
  • Keep records of calibration activities.
  • Participate in project planning to ensure quality requirements are met.
  • Monitor project progress and quality milestones.
  • Coordinate with different departments to ensure quality integration.
  • Address customer complaints and feedback regarding product quality.
  • Work with customers to resolve quality issues.
  • Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and analyze feedback.
  • Identify potential risks to product quality.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and manage risks throughout the production process.

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering (mechanical, civil, electrical, industrial, etc.), quality assurance, quality management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years' experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a related field.
  • 3+ years' experience in the offshore wind industry industry.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific standards and regulations is essential.
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Valid EU working rights essential.
