1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant - Ramsgate

Experience of supporting children with SEND

Required to start September 2024

Academics are working with an Ofsted rated 'good' primary school in Ramsgate, who are looking for an enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant who is determined to make a difference. The primary school are looking for a confident and knowledgeable individual that has experience of supporting children with a range of SEND.

The role will involve supporting a child in EYFS on a 1:1 basis. You will need to have a patient and caring approach and the dedication to building a positive relationship with the child, gaining a strong knowledge of their interests, strengths and where more support is needed.

If you're available to start from September on a full time, long term basis until the end of the next academic year, then we would love to hear from you.

Successful candidates will:

• Be Level 2 or 3 qualified or perhaps you are completing your PGCE or Education Degree with a view to becoming a teacher.
• SEND experience
• Be flexible and adaptable
• Be friendly and approachable
• Fantastic communication and organisation skills
