GI Pro are recruiting for a Fabricator OR Plater for our client located in Burton on Trent.

This is contracting work for a minimum of three months but could be longer.

Working day shifts with overtime available

Paying up to £16ph with overtime paid at TX1/2

The client - World leader in steel, railway, and automotive sector fabrication

The role: Fabricator Welder

  • All Heavy gauge work, mostly mild steel fabrication work.
  • Working from drawings, and fabrication machinery

The ideal candidate: Fabricator Welder

  • Must be a skilled Fabricator or Plater
  • Able to fabricate from scratch using presses rollers, guillotines, etc.
  • Able to work from drawings
  • Heavy steel background is preferred but client will consider lighter gauge experience too.
