Post 16 Teaching Assistant - Greenwich

Remedy Education are recruiting for a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to work within a small Post 16 Unit based in Greenwich. This would be an ideal opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to use the experience they have to flourish within a supportive school environment. Equally this role would appeal to a recently qualified T.A looking to gain experience in their first school.

This role is classed as an extremely challenging role and you will need patience.

Although this role is challenging, the role is extremely rewarding.

The role will be working with Post 16 students aged between 16 - 18 and you will be supporting them to get into employment.

Contract/Position Details:

• Location - Greenwich, SE18
• Position - Post 16 Teaching Assistant

• Duration - Ongoing
• Contract type - Temp - Perm
• Full time/part time - Full time
• Rate of Pay - From £90 - £100 per day
• Hours - 9am - 3.30pm

The ideal candidate for this role would be a capable and experienced Teaching Assistant that can respond proactively to requirements within in the classroom. A relevant teaching assistant qualification would be desirable. The candidate must be confident within the classroom and be able to identify where help is needed. You will need to be calm and positive when interacting with pupils.

Experience and qualifications:

• Up to date DBS on update service
• 2 professional references
• Teaching Assistant qualification
• Hold the Right to Work in the UK

This would be the ideal opportunity for a candidate looking to gain some more experience as a Teaching Assistant and who has a keen interest in teaching and working with Children.
