We are a dynamic and forward-thinking school located in the heart of Bristol, committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. We are now seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join our team in September 2024.



Job Description:

As an Early Career Teacher (ECT) at our school, you will be an integral part of our teaching staff, working closely with experienced educators and support staff to deliver high-quality education to our students. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the wider school community.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and development.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and guardians to support student learning and well-being.
  • Uphold the school's policies and ethos, promoting a culture of respect and inclusion.


Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or completion of teacher training program by the start date.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to student development.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
