Nursery Practitioner – Stockport

Permanent – Full Time

Salary £12:80 - £14.40 per hour

7:30 am to 6 pm 4 days per week

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our team in Stockport. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting children’s early development and learning in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver age-appropriate activities and learning experiences based on the EYFS framework
Ensure a safe, secure, and supportive environment for all children
Monitor and record children’s progress, sharing insights with parents and carers
Foster strong relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues
Implement nursery policies and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of care and education
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

NVQ in Childcare or equivalent qualification
Proven experience in a nursery or early years setting.
In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
A caring, patient, and nurturing disposition
Enhanced DBS check (or willing to undergo one)
