Salary: £40,579.86 - £43,701 depending on experience

Hours: 36 hours per week

Location: Hybrid – onsite, home and office (Telford and Wrekin)

Job Type: Fixed term contract for 12 months – potential for an extension or made permanent

The role:

Are you looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a skilled Building Surveyor to join our team. You will be working on planned works, conducting assessments, and reports by taking ownership of the management and delivery of categories of works.

How will you make an impact:

In this role you will be delivering a programme of improvement works as well as overseeing the development of apprentice or Junior Building Surveyor all the while driving a customer focussed service.

About you:

• Experience managing a team or junior members of staff
• Preparation and monitoring information and reporting progress against targets and budgets
• Experience of delivering large construction projects to time and budget
• Ability to prepare contract documentation
• Studying for having a qualification/degree in construction or related business management area
• Ability to prepare contract documentation
• If the role is made permanent, there is the option to apply for funding through a learning contract for your qualification
