Our client is looking for a Site Manager for a BESS (Battery energy Storage System) Site for a initial 2 month contract in Basildon, Essex.

The ideal candidate would have completed multiple projects on BESS sites previously as a Site Manager or similar.

Day to day duties include:

* Management of key project resources including engineering team, on site quality managers, subcontractors and suppliers.
* On site management of utility scale solar PV and Battery Storage projects.
* Reviewing works against quality and contractual requirements.
* Responsibility for ensuring the highest HSQE standards are always maintained on site and in compliance with UK HSE and CDM regulations.
* Timely preparation of site HSE, progress and quality reporting.
* Coordination of subcontractors and all on site activities.
* Ensure site documentation is prepared and delivered for project handover and O&M or safety file compilation.
* Identify and escalate any risks to budget, programme or quality to Project Management team.
* Manage materials, logistics and deliveries on site.

Requirements include SMSTS Trained, Black CSCS card Preferred, NEBOSH or similar and first aid training is a plus

Monday to Friday 8am-6pm with Saturday 8am-1pm. £550 per day, outside IR35.
