Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons to students with SEMH needs.
• Develop and implement individualized learning plans to support students' academic and emotional development.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of educators, support staff, and external professionals to create holistic support strategies.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adjusting teaching methods as needed.
• Contribute to the development of school policies and initiatives aimed at enhancing student wellbeing and achievement.

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching English, preferably within an SEMH or special education setting.
• Strong understanding of SEMH needs and strategies to support students' academic and emotional development.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach to teaching.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to embrace new challenges.
