About the Role:
GSL Education are seeking a qualified Science Teacher for a full-time, long-term position in Sheffield starting in September. This role provides an exciting opportunity to inspire students and develop their interest in scientific subjects.

Job Summary:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic Science lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and track students' progress, offering constructive feedback to support their learning.
  • Foster an engaging classroom environment that promotes curiosity and critical thinking.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize diverse teaching methods to engage students in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level exams, ensuring they achieve their academic targets.
  • Collaborate with the science department to create interdisciplinary projects and experiments.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Science at secondary level.
  • Strong command of scientific concepts and excellent communication skills.

Note:
Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies. Background checks, including an enhanced DBS disclosure, will be required for successful applicants.
