About the Role:
GSL Education are seeking a qualified English Teacher for a full-time, long-term position in Sheffield starting in September. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire a love of literature and language in students across all key stages.

Job Summary:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and record students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize innovative teaching methods to make literature and language accessible and enjoyable.
  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring they meet or exceed their target grades.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and effective communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching English at secondary level.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Note:
Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies. Background checks, including an enhanced DBS disclosure, will be required for successful applicants.
