Hourly rate: £15/hr (PAYE) or £20/hr (Umbrella)

Overview

Are you an Electronics Technician looking for an immediate start? If so, don't go anywhere - we are looking for a talented Electronics Technician to fill a contract opportunity.

The company itself is a high-technology, technical manufacturing company that has seen extensive growth in its order book in recent years supplying to a variety of industries, including Aerospace, Defence, Medical and Mass Manufacturing.

In a busy manufacturing team, your role will see you work within the production department, working on cutting edge electro-mechanical products.

There will also be an element of PCB work as well, so you will need a mixture of through-hole and surface mount soldering experience

Electronics Technician Requirements:

• Previous experience of electronic assembly
• Experienced in electro-mechanical assembly of high technology products
• Previous experience of PCB assembly and soldering - a mixture of through-hole and surface mount will be needed.
• You should have experience of building small sub-assemblies and complete units
• Ability to work to fine tolerances and use small hand-tools is required
• Proven ability to accurately follow assembly instructions and build procedures is essential
  

Electronics Technician Requirements:

• You will be required to build sub-assemblies and complete assemblies
• Working from drawings and written instructions, candidates will need to be able to follow these accurately to build assemblies
• PCB Population, soldering and quality checking.
• Candidates will be required to assemble a wide variety of technical and scientific equipment
• You may be required to do soldering work on other assemblies as well
