**  Site Steel Erector  **

Location: Dartford/Kent/London

2–3-month contract

Rate: £27.50-£32.50p/h DOE

Limited or Umbrella (Outside IR35)

Our Client:

I am working with a key client who are a heavy plant engineering and construction company, based out of Yorkshire. We are recruiting for Site Erectors on a key customer site for a minimum of a two-month shutdown, to assist on the upgrade of key capital plant, based in Dartford.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Steel erecting on framework and structural steel / gantries/ walkways / stairways etc within a food oil refinery environment.
• As well as structural steel work, associated framework around the large vessels – gantries / stairways etc.
• Read technical engineering drawings / instructions
• Rigging ideally - use of chain blocks to remove / fit new
• Float in new equipment – use of existing runway beams but there are also temporary access holes in the walls.
• Report any snagging issues or problems to Site Supervisor
• Ability to work professionally on site at clients’ premises, being a key representation

The successful candidate:

• NVQ L3 steel erecting and/or rigging
• Site safety passport required (CCNSG / CSCS / Ace Card etc)
• Experience in heavy industry, refineries etc
• Strong communication skills, with a keen eye for Health, Safety and Quality
• Ability to travel or be commutable to Dartford/Kent/London site
• Outside IR35 contract
