Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant – Salford, Greater Manchester

Educate GM’s partner school in Salford, Greater Manchester are searching for a KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their caring and thriving school.

The role is full-time, for the full academic year and will commence from September 2024. This great opportunity will pay £85-£95 a day, depending on experience.

You will be joining a successful and highly regarded school within Salford, Greater Manchester, where children prosper. The school has supportive staff members who are passionate about high standards and working as part of a team. The school encourages staff development and there are always opportunities to grow your skills as a teaching assistant.

You will need great communication skills and a lot of passion in supporting pupils, to give them to best support in their day- to- day tasks.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Level 1 – Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience in teaching in KS1/KS2
• Experience in delivering interventions is desirable.
• Patience & understanding
• Great behaviour management
• A genuine passion to support each child to reach their true potential.
• All candidates must have a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS)
• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.

• You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
