Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant who is keen to undertake a new challenge to support the learning of pupils with additional needs within the EYFS.

Academics are looking to recruit a full time learning support assistant to work on a long term basis at a school in Dagenham to assist with the learning of a pupil who is due to join them in reception. The school have advised that the role will start ASAP and therefore all applications must be submitted at your earliest convenience.

The school would like to appoint a learning support assistant who has recent experience working within the borough of Barking and Dagenham so have knowledge of referral processes and CAHMS. The students joining the school will be in Reception so EYFS and personal care experience would be preferable but not essential.

Described as "a thriving and vibrant primary school" the school is located a short walk from both Dagenham East and Dagenham Dock stations the school is ideally situated for those wishing to commute via public transport. The appointed Learning Support Assistant will be working sat a school that is rated "Good" in their last inspection (2019) on an initial contract basis (£80-£90 per day PAYE) with a view to permanent offerings subject to funding.

Applicants for this Learning Support Assistant role must have:

• Experience working with pupils with SEND
• Child workforce DBS (Ideally on update service)
• 2 recent school based references
• Right to work in the UK
