Job Title: MEP BIM Coordinator

Location: West London (fully onsite)

Pay rate: £45p/h Outside IR35

Contract Length: 6 months

About Us:

Are you passionate about Building Information Modelling (BIM) and looking to make a significant impact on large-scale infrastructure projects? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented MEP BIM Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Based in West London, this role will support our MEP team in ensuring the alignment of BIM information with client requirements through meticulous checking and clash detection.

The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a MEP BIM Coordinator?

• Coordinate and monitor weekly BIM data submissions from the SCS supply chain.
• Conduct model federation and clash detection of BIM models following the SCS BIM Execution Plan.
• Verify embedded BIM metadata in compliance with the SCS BIM Execution Plan.
• Attend and contribute to weekly clash detection meetings with the SCS supply chain.
• Ensure BIM quality assurance and report issues to the SCS MEP BIM Manager.
• Implement the Stage 5 Design for Manufacture & Construction Assurance Strategy.
• Maintain strong working relationships with the SCS supply chain to foster collaboration and efficiency.

What are we looking for in our next MEP BIM Coordinator?

• Recognised qualification in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) discipline.
• Experience across all project lifecycle stages, particularly in large infrastructure environments.
• Proficiency in clash detection.
• Competency in Bentley AECOSim, ProjectWise, and Autodesk Navisworks.
• Desirable but not essential: experience with Bentley iTwin and Autodesk Revit.
• Experience in 3D CAD production for civil engineering projects.
• Solid understanding of BIM principles and PAS1192 standards.
• Architectural or structural experience is advantageous but not required.
