On behalf of our client, a specialist composite manufacturing organisation. We are actively recruiting a number of Composite Assemblers to join their team in Cambridgeshire on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Building composite and aluminium panels
- Removal of aluminium core
- Removal of honeycomb composite core
- Competent in ambient & elevated curing of fillers, sealants & adhesives
- Competent in the correct preparation of adhesives, sealants & fillers ensuring all criteria & specifications are met and adhered to
- Competent in the potting of inserts
- Competent in drilling, reaming, de-burring of metallic panels
- Competent in countersinking on metallic surfaces
- Usage of MRP system
- Reading of engineering drawings and specifications
Experience & Skills:
- Experience within Aerospace preferred, other transferable industries will be considered.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Good verbal & written communication
- Setting and implementing high standards of housekeeping in your department
The Contract:
- 6 months with extensions highly likely
- 40-50 hrs per week
- £15-£16.50/hr PAYE
- Weekly pay
- Early finish Friday’s
- Possibility of temporary to permanent for the right candidates
