We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer specialising in Operation & Maintenance (O&M) to join our team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of Heating Interface Units (HIUs), plant rooms, and performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM). This role offers high rates and the opportunity to work with a dynamic and professional team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

HIU Maintenance: Perform routine and corrective maintenance on Heating Interface Units to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Plant Room Management: Oversee and maintain mechanical plant rooms, including boilers, pumps, valves, and associated equipment.

PPM Activities: Plan, schedule, and execute planned preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure all equipment operates efficiently.

Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose mechanical issues and perform timely repairs to maintain continuous operation of mechanical systems.

Compliance and Safety: Ensure all work complies with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and compliance with maintenance schedules.

Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, contractors, and facility managers to coordinate maintenance activities and resolve any issues.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving efficiency, reliability, and performance of mechanical systems and implement necessary changes.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, specifically in HIUs, plant rooms, and PPM.

Qualifications: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Relevant certifications in mechanical maintenance are a plus.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HIUs, boilers, pumps, and HVAC systems.

Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to perform complex repairs on mechanical systems.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports.

Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with various stakeholders.

Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, if required.

Qualifications: Relevant certifications in mechanical maintenance, HVAC, or similar.NVQ in plumbing and heating
