Sampling Technician

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are searching for a versatile Sampling Technician to join a Water Treatment Supplier, on a contract basis.
Based in Truro, this is a brilliant opportunity to work on exciting Wastewater treatment projects.
As the selected Sampling Technician, you will report to the Project Manager whilst carrying out sampling in accordance with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit Wastewater treatment sites and other sampling locations to take samples in accordance with the sampling schedule
- Plan daily sampling runs so that they are taken in a timely manner
- Ensure samples are taken in line with Company, South West Water and Environmental Agency sampling procedures
- Complete appropriate paperwork, including sample sheets and calibration records
- Install and download temperature loggers
- Transport samples to laboratories as necessary
- Clean and maintain all sampling equipment
- Carry out routine calibration checks on portable instruments
Key Requirements:
- Full UK driving license
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of Wastewater and Environmental sampling techniques
- Ability to develop positive relationships with other team members
- Clear and concise communication skills
