A fantastic opportunity with one of the biggest names in nuclear and defence is looking for an EC&I Engineer to join there team on a long term basis to work shift patterns. This is a great opportunity with a good pay rate that has plenty of opportunity for growth and development.

  • Job Title - EC&I Engineer
  • Location - Reading (11 shifts on and 3 shifts off)
  • Contract Length - 12 Months
  • Pay Rates - £61.66 an Hour (Umbrella Inside IR35)

Daily deliverables:

  • Ensure any and all specification for clients design are implemented and checked for safety compliance
  • Ensure changes are effectively controlled and that work is well documented and coordinated to the correct managers
  • Ensure the implementation of the Project Execution Plan (PEP)
  • Improve construction safety performance to meet Company targets
  • Liaise with designers and / or technical experts to ensure correct interpretation of their requirements and obtain authorisation for modifications as a consequence of local conditions.
  • Implementation of Quality Plans, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments etc.
  • Ensure the teams work is checked thoroughly and maintained to the specific requirements of the end client

Key Skills/Qualifications:

  • HNC/HND or degree in a relevant engineering field
  • Time spent working on highly regulated sites (preferably Nuclear)
  • Installation, commissioning and operations experience
