Class 1 (C + E) HGV Driver - Days and Nights

We are working with a client who is seeking for more HGV Class 1 (Cat C + E) drivers to add to their team. The workload inclusive of general haulage on curtainsider trucks. Client has a large fleet of Trucks and need consistent drivers both AM and PM. Tramping may be available depending on the run.

Main responsibilities:

• Being accountable for the safe and timely delivery of goods on the vehicle
• Being responsible for securing the goods in the vehicle and unloading at each drop
• Perform daily checks on the vehicle and trailer and keep the vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

Experience:

- Class 1 (Cat C + E) driving experience (1 year minimum for insurance purposes)

- Valid CPC

- Clean driving record

Location:

Wrexham

Salary:

£15 - £20 PH, 8 hours minimum paid per shift

Holiday pay accrued separately.

Working Pattern:

Monday to Friday. Start times vary depending on run and client can be flexible due to vast amount of work. Typical start times:

Days - 0500-0700

Nights - 1800-2000
