Description
- are seeking a detail-oriented Planner to support the planning and scheduling activities for small-scale EPCM projects based at our Client’s facility in County Durham NE UK.
- Planner will work closely with project teams to develop and maintain project schedules, track progress, and identify potential risks or delays.
- role requires good organisational skills, analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Planning and Scheduling - Assist in developing project schedules for small EPCM projects, incorporating all relevant tasks, milestones, and dependencies.
- Monitoring and Reporting - Monitor project progress against established schedules, tracking actual performance and comparing it to planned timelines.
- Allocation and Coordination - Coordinate with project teams to allocate resources effectively and ensure optimal utilisation of manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Management and Contingency Planning - Identify potential schedule risks and uncertainties, and assist in developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Communication and Collaboration - Serve as a point of contact for project planning and scheduling-related communications with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred; relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- experience in project planning, scheduling, or project management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- in project planning and scheduling software/tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6).
