Senior School Finance Officer | Greenwich | £18 - £22 per hour

Are you a qualified/part qualified School Finance Officer seeking positions working in and educational setting?

We are seeking an experienced School Finance Officer to join an all through Independent school based in Greenwich. As the School Finance Officer, you will join a close-knit team who manage the day-to-day financial processes and administrative procedures required for the smooth running of the school finance department.

The School Finance Officer will report to the Finance Manager.

Senior School Finance Officer duties include:

• Budget monitoring
• Running supplier BACS payments weekly
• Preparing annual return, tax reclaims
• Financial reporting
• Parent Staff accounts
• Updating school accounting records
• Reconciliation for school and trading company
• Supplier management
• Processing expenses
• Creating and recording interbank transfers
• PO and Invoicing

Senior School Finance Officer Requirements:

• Completed/Part Qualified finance qualification i.e. ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CIPFA, ICAEW, ICAS, AAT
• Educated to Degree Level
• Experience in Purchase Ledger and Bank reconciliation
• Experience in school budgeting
• Experience working in schools
• Knowledge of accounting systems i.e. Xero, Sage, FMS etc

Senior School Finance Officer Role

• Full Time / Permanent position
• To start ASAP (candidates with notice period will also be considered)
