Job Description:

SLT at the school are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will have a passion for mathematics and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching that engages and inspires students.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering the maths curriculum to students aged 11-16, preparing them for GCSE examinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Develop and implement schemes of work in line with the National Curriculum and school policies.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the teaching and learning of mathematics across the school.
  • Participate in school events, parent evenings, and professional development activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Experience teaching mathematics at the secondary school level, including GCSE level.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a reflective approach to teaching practice.
