Streetworks Supervisor

£250 - £300/day

Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor/Delivery Manager to start work on various utilities projects around Lincoln, this is an ongoing CIS contract, and the rate is £250 - £300 p/d.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineers, highways authorities, and housing developers to plan, organize, and support field resources for day-to-day framework operations across multiple programs/schemes.
  • Monitor progress, ensure efficient resource allocation, and maintain compliance with CDM and temporary works requirements.
  • Engage with the design team for new schemes to implement prevention principles.
  • Maintain consistent water quality and hygiene standards within POSWSH.
  • Produce necessary CDM documentation (CCP's, Permits, Risk Assessments, Method Statements) for each scheme.
  • Supervise site activities, conduct health and safety audits, and promote near miss/hazard reporting.
  • Lead engagement with Developers, meeting their needs during operational work delivery.Understand the impact of third parties and ensure their requirements are met.Foster a right first-time culture to minimize customer contacts and deliver service excellence.
  • Attend commercial meetings to review performance and cost improvement plans.

Requirements:

  • NRSWA Supervisor accreditation, SSSTS/SMSTS or IOSH training, and Temporary Works supervisor training
  • Understanding of water quality regulations and experience in water mains construction.
  • Strong awareness of CDM principles.
  • Previous experience within streetworks & utilities/water is essential.
