PE Teacher -  Rickmansworth

At Engage Education, we’re recruiting for an exciting opportunity to work in a Secondary School within Rickmansworth who are currently recruiting for a PE teacher to start in September 2024

About the role:

This is a full-time, long-term role teaching PE to Key Stage 3 & 4 students. This role comes with plenty of room for career progression for those who commit to the school’s passion for providing a supportive and enriching environment for their students. The school also places great emphasis on staff wellbeing and a healthy work-life balance. This role would suit either an ECT/NQT or experienced teacher and the department and school has a very supportive atmosphere and a strong team of ECT/NQT mentors.

The school is accessible by public transport but easier to reach by car. It is a large 11-18 secondary school based across three sites.

About you:

• Have the ability to build strong rapport with young adults, and have experience mentoring students
• Have experience teaching PE at KS3/4.
• Have a background in education.
• Have a proven background of raising pupil progress
• A real desire to make a positive difference to the students that you work with
