SEN Teaching Assistant at a secondary SEN school in the Manchester area.
Starting ASAP on a full time basis, Mon to Fri.
Opportunity to turn permanent for the right person.
Hours are 9:30am - 3:30pm.
Pay up to GBP95/day depending on exp.


As the new SEN Teaching Assistant you will need to support young people with Autism & Complex Needs.
You will need to work as a team to manage challenging situations and make progress with your pupils.
Often 1:1 support will be required as well
Sometimes personal care or moving & handling tasks will be needed.
Pupils respond well to motivation, encouragement & positive reinforcement
The school caters for children aged 11-18.
Aim for all pupils, regardless of background or ability to be successful and valued.
Collaborative and inclusive team environment.
Easily accessible by bus or car.
To join us and be successful in this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:

Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service
Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable).
2 Professional references checks.
Provide a CV with a full history.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
Have some experience with teenagers or young adults.
